I invited myself along to Kaila Watters' Meadow Brook Stables over the weekend to watch Maddy, Lola and Ruby do some grooming and groundwork with the horses there. Danique gave them lots to do and think about- stand close, fly masks are good things, horse hair makes great nesting material for the birds. I'm so glad I fanangled my way in to Liam and Tanya's afternoon with the kids!

These next few images blow my mind. The first image was taken not long after we arrived. The Rubester was apprehensive, unsure of the horses. By the end of the day, Ruby and Rio were best of friends. The trust that grew in such a short time is amazing, but honestly, not surprising to me. Perfect.
